The High Commission of India organized a Curtain Raiser for International Yoga Day 2021 at the Chancery premises on 15th June, 2021. Many Yoga enthusiasts participated in the event. High Commissioner welcomed the participants and asked them to participate in the main Yoga event to be celebrated by the High Commission on 20th June, 2021 at Hotel Hilton. Some photos taken during the curtain raiser are enclosed.

Welcome to Yoga Week!  
Here is some  amazing work and  reason behind that has inspired their yoga practice. 
Theme: What inspired me to do yoga? 
At a very young age, I was diagnosed with some nerve disorder and was advised by a medical doctor to treat it with yoga practice. I started practicing yoga at the age of 6 within a year. I was cured since then I started loving yoga and it ended up being my passion and profession.

In run-up to International Day of Yoga 2021 Celebration, Embassy of India, Baghdad organized a “Curtain Raiser” in association with a group of Yoga teachers/enthusiasts led by Mr. Makki, Yoga trainer and Dr. Mustafa, Yoga Teacher from Baghdad. They gave demonstration of various Yoga Asanas.  Ambassador Shri Birender Singh Yadav also gave brief remarks on International Day of Yoga to Iraqi news Al Rasheed TV channel.

Curtain Raiser 3 for #IDY2021 @ Eswatini.  For the Members of the Ezulwini Town Council today @ Fitness Zone, Gables Mall.  HC joined The Lord Mayor, the Deputy Mayor, the CEO and the  Council members,  who all enjoyed the session.  Thank you Nhlanganiso Mix Dlamini and Mandisa Mamba  for guiding the session.  Looking forward to seeing you all at our IDY celebratory session on 21 June, 2021 at Royal Villas, Ezulwini.

“योग विज्ञान है” – ओशो

 योग विज्ञान है, विश्वास नहीं। योग की अनुभूति के लिए किसी तरह की श्रद्धा आवश्यक नहीं है। योग का इस्लाम, हिंदू, जैन या ईसाई से कोई संबंध नहीं है। 

जिन्हें हम धर्म कहते हैं वे विश्वासों के साथी हैं। योग विश्वासों का नहीं है, जीवन सत्य की दिशा में किए गए वैज्ञानिक प्रयोगों की सूत्रवत प्रणाली है। इसलिए पहली बात मैं आपसे कहना चाहूंगा वह यह कि  योग विज्ञान है, विश्वास नहीं। योग की अनुभूति के लिए किसी तरह की श्रद्धा आवश्यक नहीं है। योग के प्रयोग के लिए किसी तरह के अंधेपन की कोई जरूरत नहीं है।

नास्तिक भी योग के प्रयोग में उसी तरह प्रवेश पा सकता है जैसे आस्तिक। योग नास्तिक-आस्तिक की भी चिंता नहीं करता है। विज्ञान आपकी धारणाओं पर निर्भर नहीं होता; विपरीत, विज्ञान के कारण आपको अपनी धारणाएं परिवर्तित करनी पड़ती हैं। कोई विज्ञान आपसे किसी प्रकार के बिलीफ, किसी तरह की मान्यता की अपेक्षा नहीं करता है। विज्ञान सिर्फ प्रयोग की, एक्सपेरिमेंट की अपेक्षा करता है।
