7th International Day of Yoga was celebrated in Sofia at National Palace of Culture with Bulgarian Yoga Federation and Yoga Schools in Bulgaria, Ambassador Sanjay Rana & Mrs. Vera Zaharieva  President of Българска Федерация по Йога - БФЙ, Сахаджа Йога България, Iyengar Yoga Centre Sofia,  Swami Yoga, Gyan and #mediation by The Art of Living etc. A book titled "Yoga" written by prominent Yoga teacher Mr. Ventsislav Evtimov was also launched at the event.  Stalls displaying Indian art, literature, henna application, ayurvedic products attracted hundreds

Yoga in Palestine: From Dawn to Dusk! Representative Office of India organized the 7th International Day of Yoga at the landmark Hilltop of Rawabi City, West Bank, in association with Rawabi City, Beit Al- Shams Center for Self Development, and Karma Center. The evening function brought to a close the Yoga Day celebration which began in the morning in Gaza in association with the Positive Energy Center for Youth, where enthusiasts performed yoga at the Gaza Beach.

Oameni de toate vârstele s-au reunit cu ocazia Zilei Internaționale a Yoga (IDY) 2021 sărbătorită la Chișinău, în Parcul Dendrariu în data de 21 iunie. Aceștia au învatat pozitii usoare de Yoga, ghidati de instructori entuziaști, în așa fel încât să poată fi exersate ori de cate ori aceștia vor simți nevoia. Evenimentul a fost organizat de Ambasada Indiei la București, împreună cu Organizația culturală și de afaceri Indo-Mold.

Common Yoga Protocol by “Centre for Indian Classical Dances and Yoga, Almaty-Kazakhstan”,  was conducted in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Nur-Sultan on 19th  June 2021 in Almaty. The function was  guided  by Ms. Akmaral Kainazarova.  Live streaming on FB was watched by more than 126 people, and live streaming on Instagram was watched by 281 people.

After successfully organizing two events on June 19 and 20 in Sweida and Homs provinces respectively in the run up to the 7th #InternationalDayofYoga, India in Syria, Embassy of India, Damascus culminated the #IDY2021 celebrations in #Syria with the third event at the historical Damascus Citadel on June 21, 2021, with demonstration of Common Yoga Protocol by professional Yoga practitioners trained in India.

“योग विज्ञान है” – ओशो

 योग विज्ञान है, विश्वास नहीं। योग की अनुभूति के लिए किसी तरह की श्रद्धा आवश्यक नहीं है। योग का इस्लाम, हिंदू, जैन या ईसाई से कोई संबंध नहीं है। 

जिन्हें हम धर्म कहते हैं वे विश्वासों के साथी हैं। योग विश्वासों का नहीं है, जीवन सत्य की दिशा में किए गए वैज्ञानिक प्रयोगों की सूत्रवत प्रणाली है। इसलिए पहली बात मैं आपसे कहना चाहूंगा वह यह कि  योग विज्ञान है, विश्वास नहीं। योग की अनुभूति के लिए किसी तरह की श्रद्धा आवश्यक नहीं है। योग के प्रयोग के लिए किसी तरह के अंधेपन की कोई जरूरत नहीं है।

नास्तिक भी योग के प्रयोग में उसी तरह प्रवेश पा सकता है जैसे आस्तिक। योग नास्तिक-आस्तिक की भी चिंता नहीं करता है। विज्ञान आपकी धारणाओं पर निर्भर नहीं होता; विपरीत, विज्ञान के कारण आपको अपनी धारणाएं परिवर्तित करनी पड़ती हैं। कोई विज्ञान आपसे किसी प्रकार के बिलीफ, किसी तरह की मान्यता की अपेक्षा नहीं करता है। विज्ञान सिर्फ प्रयोग की, एक्सपेरिमेंट की अपेक्षा करता है।
